This is a pair of hanging pictures I found at the University Hospital 2 days ago when I went to visit my sick aunt, they were hanging on both sides of a huge window overlooking the main entrance of the Hospital on the 6th floor.
So I took each separately to show the detail of the workmanship.. It's true I took it with my IPhone cuz it's new and I'm playing with it but hopefully they are clear, plus I was in a hurry to catch the elevator :) They are not as clear as I would have liked but it's a start ;)
The writing on the black velvet is done with gold thread that is so fine and exquisite!

Hi!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful!! Great shot considering the camera. But some of the cell phones seem to take great photos! Have a great day!!
Sherrie
Nice ..
ReplyDeletethe horse in my photo is named Roy .. he was named for one of the NYPD cops who died on Sept 11 .. and when his policewoman retires, he is retiring with her to FL! And she, his policewoman whose name I didnt get, told me he likes people and the attention but he adores kids .. he actually nosed me out of the way to get to a little kid! How wonderful is that?
Thanks Sherrie for passing by, well considering it's only a 2 megapixel camera.. it was considerably ok :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Daryl for passing by :) it's so nice to have a story with the picture and for getting the horse name makes it even more better! Roy is gorgeous ;)
Nice capture ..
ReplyDeleteDogs, old men, foreigners all love me ..I thought that little pup was looking right at me too .. I was captivated with that face .. and I was hesitant to use my camera so I whipped out the iPhone ...

Those are quite interesting wall hangings you found. They should tell you who put all the work into them!
ReplyDeleteDaryl, I realize the IPhone is becoming very useful lately.. to capture those moments that your camera is not that close by :)
ReplyDeleteEvy, thanks for following me :) I will try to post some more pictures to catch up with this challenge :)
